Sharing Member Stories

Few things are more powerful than a good story. People love stories. They help them see how others live and provide them with insights and experiences that help them understand things they don’t know.

And therein lies the real power of the story…in helping someone learn from someone else’s experience.

What does this mean to your credit union?

If you want to connect with your members and build stronger relationships…the kind of relationships that will lead to them becoming advocates for your credit union…follow that action advice below…it works!

ACTION ADVICE: Capture and share members stories that tell about how your credit union has helped individuals with their financial needs. Put them on your website, in your lobby, in your newsletter, and in all your marketing materials…because when I see someone who looks just like me telling me how great the credit union is and what it has done for them, I am much more likely to trust the credit union to do the same for me!
