One of our goals at CreditUnionStrategy.com is to bring the best possible information to the people who visit the site.

Since we know that there are many people out there with information of value to credit union executives, volunteer leaders, and managers, we’ve decided to reach out and invite those who would be interested in sharing their expertise to submit a guest blog post.

Here’s how it will work.

Each Friday the blog at CreditUnionStrategy.com will feature a post from a guest blogger.  These posts will showcase the perspectives and insights of credit union experts, industry leaders, and others with ideas that can help credit unions in defining and implementing more effective strategies.

Guest blog posts at CreditUnionStrategy.com should focus on improving strategic thinking and action on the part of c-level executives, board members, and managers of credit unions.   Strategy, leadership, and culture, and their inherent interrelationships, are stressed on the blog.

Each guest blog post should have a central focus/theme and should contain no more than 3-5 main points that expand upon that theme.  There should be a closing paragraph or list of action steps title ACTION ADVICE that provide a next step for readers to help them take action on the ideas and insights shared in the post.  The entire post should be in the range of 500 words.

If you have a much longer post that can be divided into a series of 2-3 posts, we would be happy to consider it for inclusion on the blog.  Please note that the preference is for an original post that has not appeared elsewhere, though you are certainly welcome to rework something you have done for another audience to make it fit the needs and interests of our readers.

All guest posts will include a brief 50-75 word bio of the author with a link to their website.  This will appear at the bottom of the post.  An introductory paragraph will be included in the post introducing the guest to the readers.

ACTION ADVICE: If you would be interested in submitting a guest post, here is the process:

1. Please send an e-mail to Michael@CreditUnionStrategy.com indicating the working title and focus of your post and the date when you would be able to have it ready.  Be sure to include your name, e-mail address, website, and phone.
2. Posts are scheduled on a first come first served basis, and once we receive your inquiry we will notify you of the date when we would like to run your post.  Your post will be due one week prior to the date that it is schedule to run.
3. If you have a preference with regard to a photo or illustration for your post, please provide it with your post…sending it to Michael@CreditUnionStrategy.com – be sure that you own the copyright or have permission to use the graphic.  If you do not provide a graphic we will select something appropriate to insert when we place your post on the blog.
4. When your post runs, please share the link with others in your network via Twitter, Facebook, your personal blog, and any other tools you use to connect with them so that they will be able to read your post on the site.
