From time to time my wife refers to me as “Mr. Gadget” due to my propensity for finding new tools and getting excited about what they can do.
Today I’d like to share a new tool I stumbled across recently that makes designing, developing, and delivering presentations a whole new experience.
It’s called Prezi and it’s available at Prezi.com.
ACTION ADVICE: The best way to explain it is to show you…so click the arrow above and take a look (you’ll need to click to advance through the presentation and view each page). Then visit the website and check it out for yourself to see if it might make your life easier…it has certainly done that for me. After that, spend some time brainstorming about how you can use this tool to share information with your team, with your members, and with those with whom you collaborate.

I love Prezi! Recently discovered it and it’s really effective for engaging people whereas Powerpoint just sends them to sleep.
Thanks for commenting Leeanne…I agree with you 1,000%…it’s so easy to use and it keeps people much more engaged. What I really love is that ability to quickly and easily change the presentation to the specific audience, and the ability to update quickly and see the whole ‘mind map’ of the presentation at one time. It’s also really great to be able to share presentations so quickly and easily online without worrying about what version of the presentation software the viewer has on their computer!
